How to Follow Guidance

​Tonight I was having dinner with friends at a restaurant. I had the impulse to go get my guitar out of my car and play. 

My loves, allow your heart to sing. Listen for the call and respond with your voice. Beautiful moments that make up a more beautiful world is the result. Greater connection. Offer. Give.

Q: When you have an impulse, how do you know if it is guidance?
A: I usually ask again. I check in with my protectors and ask, is this true guidance? Are you sure? If I get a yes, I go for it - all out. 

Q: What if I feel nervous?
A: Name it. Allow it. Use it to ride on the top of the bubbly wave.

Q: What will other people think? 
A: Do your shadow work. My favorite is Derek Rydall's Emergence Process. Allow yourself to fall in love with all your parts, even the ones you don't like so much. Be so transparent and self loving that you get to show up fully as you.
