When starting a project that stretches you...

I am currently working on a new training for you conscious creators who are expericing the inevitable self doubt and anxiety that comes with choosing your own life for yourself.

Just like the teachers who have come before me warned, when I go to work on it my ego flares up.

And by ego I mean the limited and small self that would like to see me stay the same. It's my sleepy protector who wants to shield me from the possibility of getting body slammed by the wave of life.

I opened my computer to work and...

...got unbearably tired.
...then unbearably hungry.
...then found I was sitting between two homeless people who were having an arguement
...then I got sick!

Persistent ego...

Having been warned this might happen I burst out laughing.

And then this wave of relief washed over me. I have had "training" with a check box next to it that has remained empty as other items come and go.

I knew I was on the exact right track.

I could see clearly the smallest opening to begin. I set a timer. I wrote and I worked. It's begun! When we stretch ourselves into the next iteration all of the old crap comes up to say,

"Please don't change. We are actually fine right where we are."

In one sense my ego was right. In another sense, I am so excited to share what I've learned and am creating with you so that I can extend my hand to the next group of upcoming people. You don't have to suffer in the same way I did! Just like we don't have to suffer in the same way MLK did because of his valiant choice to serve. I choose to serve. Will you.
